Mr. Hochheiser is the Senior Partner of Hochheiser & Hochheiser, LLP. He graduated from NYU Law School in 1966, where he was a member of the Law Review. www.nyu.edu/law.nyu
Mr. Hochheiser served as Assistant District Attorney in New York County from 1967 to 1971, specializing in the investigation and prosecution of organized crime cases in the office's famed Rackets Bureau www.manhattanda.org.
Mr. Hochheiser is: former President of the New York Criminal Bar Association www.nycrimbar.org, former co-chair of the American Bar Association's Defense Function Committee, a life member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers

Mr. Hochheiser was honored by the New York Criminal Bar Association: "For excellence in the practice of criminal law" and "maintenance of the profession's highest standards"; and received the Frank S. Hogan Association's "Award for Legal Excellence" – an association of former assistant district attorneys who served under the legendary Manhattan DA.
Mr Hochheiser has tried uncountable criminal cases – in both state and federal courts – many of them high profile, often infamous murders. These range from the small and simple to the complex and large mega-trials; they include (among other types) murder, economic fraud, tax fraud, narcotics, organized crime (federal RICO and state Enterprise Corruption), gambling, alien smuggling, and – almost every sort of criminal case one might think of.
Mr. Hochheiser is admitted to practice in the courts of New York State, the United States District Courts for the Southern, Eastern and Northern Districts of New York, the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court; and has been admitted to other jurisdictions pro hac vice.
